Dekoninck Vastgoedexperts attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This statement explains which data we process, why we do so, and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy law.

2. Which data do we process, and why?

We never ask for more data than the file requires. We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it on.
3. How long do we keep your data?
- Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment: a maximum of 12 months after the last contact.
- Files and valuation reports: 10 years, given the possibility of a report being contested and the applicable tax limitation periods.
- Accounting records: 7 years, as required by law.
4. With whom do we share your data?
Your data is only shared where this is necessary for handling your file or for the operation of this website:
- Combell nv (Ghent, Belgium) — hosting of this website and of our e-mail.
- Web3Forms — handles delivery of the contact form to our mailbox.
- OpenStreetMap — provides the map on the contact section.
- Notaries, banks, courts or the Flemish Tax Authority — only at your express instruction or where the law requires it.
As a certified valuer-expert we are bound to discretion regarding the content of your file.
5. Cookies
This website places no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. No cookie banner is therefore required. Your language choice (NL/FR/EN) is simply a separate page and is not stored.
The fonts and all images on this website are loaded from our own server; nothing is shared with third parties for that. Only the map in the contact section (OpenStreetMap) receives your IP address at the moment your browser loads it.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: a secure connection (https), access to files restricted to the valuer handling them, and a mailbox protected by two-step verification.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and request a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, in so far as we are not legally required to keep it;
- restrict or object to the processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- have your data transferred in a readable format.

8. Changes
We may adapt this statement when our operations or the law change. The date at the top always indicates the most recent version.
